169-365 | Birthday Dinner

My sister and brother in law always go to Cafe Brio for special dinners (anniversaries, Valentine's Day) and I usually get to just hear about it as I am the babysitter.  We decided to go have our birthday dinners there (my sister and I are 4 days apart).  It was amazing and delicious.  This is the roasted duck breast with baby beets.  The best dessert I have ever had (Johnny my nephew agreed, he ate half of auntie's instead of his ice cream) - a chocolate, caramel lava cake - OMG!

168-365 | Deck Dog

I looked for Messina for probably 10 minutes this day.  I knew she had been outside but couldn't find her.  Our deck loses the sun around 3pm, so she just went to the landlord's deck up top to catch the last rays of the day.

167-365 | Nails---Getting Back into Shape

When Messina was sick, I was pretty lax on the nail cutting.  If you leave the nails for more than 2 weeks, they are like weeds and get away from you and hard to get back short again.  BUT, we are back on our way to respectable nails again, FINALLY.

166-365 | Wild Flowers

These flowers are in my neighbor's yard and coming through the fence.  I couldn't decide on just one shot, so did a storyboard instead.
