262-365 | War Wounds

Messina came home today (well not home, we are staying at my sister's).  She needs a lot of assistance to walk, but has improved over the last 2 days and the doctors think she will do better at home.  I have stairs at my house so for now, we have setup a crate in my sister's living room.  I am lucky to have people in my life that care so much.  She is resting a lot as seen here.  Just a pic of her poor shaved belly.

261-365 | Distraction

My nephew Matthew is the greatest distraction.  He has sooo many funny faces, and especially now that he is eating real food.

260-365 | Bad Day

Messina crashed during the night, I had to carry her to the car and caught the 7am ferry hoping to make it in time.  I did and they have stabilized her and put her on prednizone after doing an ultrasound and x-rays to  to rule out lymphoma.  They seem to be working.  My sister and family are here on the mainland visiting her in-laws and I am so lucky to have a place to stay with people who really care about me and Mess.  It is 10pm at night, it has been a long day and I hadn't pulled out my camera but thought I would take a pic of the water bottle, trying to stay hydrated with all the tears in the last 24 hours.

259-365 | Hard

Very hard day today.  Messina is on antibiotics as well as pain meds.  She is spending most of her time in her crate.  She needs a lot of assistance to get around.  I am pretty worried.

258-365 | Pink Bandages

I don't know if they have other colors, but Messina came home from hosptial this afternoon with her pink bandage...her color.
