In Memory of Kashmere...missed by many.

My dad used to say that things happened for a reason, and I believe that. That is why J. asked me to do a session of her and her lovely poodles Kashmere (aka Kash) and pretty peachy girl Rosa just before Christmas. We were in the same dog agility class and got to know each other a bit better. We had a blast as it had snowed in Victoria and we had some great backgrounds with the colors. We got a lot of great shots, but more importantly had a lot of fun that day. Little did we know that as I am typing this in May, Kash is no longer here but passed over to the Rainbow Bridge. These pictures will always hold a special place in J.'s heart, but also in mine.

Happy Anniversary

This is what 40 years of marriage looks like. Lovely family with their daughters....I could see the love!

Christmas is coming....

Mr. C...my good friend Kathy's grandson. So cute and up for anything including the mini lights wrapped around him. He was such a trooper and put up with the santa hat and lights. The mini lights picture, my favourite from Christmas.

Cutie Patooties....

The most polite children I have ever met. We walked to the bridge near their house in the cold, drizzly weather in November and they were troopers. The best part was the the big brother was a great big brother and didn't even think twice of holding his sister's hand. One of my favourites so far.

Windy Day.....

Went out to meet a dog friend at her home with her three beautiful dogs. That is friend with a dog :)
The collage turned out to be my favourite composite...found some great digital word art to add. It was cold and super windy, these models DID NOT need wind machines this day.

John Russell - 5 Months

Quick session this month for 5 months...weather was not nice...but this was my favourite from the session.

Girls...Girls...Girls

Pink is the Word!! So much fun in the backyard just before Christmas with this family. As they missed the snow from their recent move from northern BC, we played in the back yard and had a great time. I wouldn't be surprised if a supermodel was born.

Baby K.....

Baby K is a buddy of my newphew's and in late November I went out and did a session with him and his parents. We had a great time...a warm Victoria day and got some great shots. Much to Johnny Russ's chagrin, Baby K even became my new model for my business cards. Johnny says the next order MUST have him on them on the front not the back :)

Very Special People....

These parents are 2 very special people. With 6 kids, there is never a dull moment, and even a morning in the fog and rain didn't damper their spirits. Really special relationships in this family....friends of my sister and new friends of mine!

My Nephew Johnny Russ....

Catch up of 4 months of pictures of my nephew...starting with newborn. Can't believe in less than a month on "Our Birthday", yes we share a birthday, we will be doing a cake smashing session.

Beach Day in the Fall...

OK...so first post to catchup on blogging. This was my first family....a day at the beach and we had a great time. Cutie boys and a 4 year old who just needed to be convinced he was a model.
