113 | 365 Too Cool For School

 I love a picture of the back of anything, but the backwards cap just makes it just too cool of a shot.

A new toy got pulled from the closet by a very smart mom.  Johnny and I played for about 15 minutes and got the petting zoo all setup and then he must have played by himself for 1/2 hour while Aunty took pictures.  Look at that concentration and focus.  Sometimes technically perfect photos can be replaced by emotionally perfect ones.

Little Matthew is 2 months old.  I did a session on Friday and and then Cheryl and Matthew spent the day scrapping at my house so we had to fit in a few more shots.  Here are the sneak peaks.  More to come soon.

112 | 365 Why you should never leave your camera with your sister....

It was a very busy day, work and appointments.  Since I am doing the 365, my camera is with me all the time.  I thought maybe after the vet appointment we may head to the beach.  I decided Messina wasn't up for it, so stopped at my sister's house on the way home.  That turned into dinner and I went home at 7pm.  I thought I would play with my off camera flash and take my picture of the day, BUT no camera, yes I had left it at Cheryl's.  My batteries were dead in the point and shoot, and I didn't feel like using my phone camera because it is really crappy.  I told Cheryl to just take a picture, put in P mode.  Well most were blurry and one was x-rated...thanks to John...so you are getting the tree in front of the house.  And of course Johnny's favourite things in the world...trucks across the street.

111 | 365 Tired Eyes

Messina has some swelling on the top of her head by her occipital bone.  I was trying to take a picture of it and I actually got 2 shots with her eyes close.  She is a tired little girl.  I also really like my patio stones as the curve in the stones really adds to the portrait.

I wanted to just focus on some texture today.  This is a basket that is one my deck.

I met with Trisha and Mike tonight to discuss their upcoming wedding.  I can't wait for the 15th of May.  Stay tuned for their sneak peak.

Messina had a little off leash this week, but she really is still not feeling well as just trotting with me and didn't even chase the geese.

There is nothing Johnny likes more than going to the park to play.  We tried out a new park on Friday and had a great time climbing the logs and playing with the dandelions.  Playing is way more fun than looking at the camera though!
And a couple of pics of Cheryl's tulips in the front garden.

A few from our Easter egg hunt on Easter Monday.  Johnny thought it was great fun.  He enjoyed the chocolate the most I think...and yes I didn't let him eat the egg with the foil on it, took the picture first!!!

LOVE that you can tell that Maddie was helping Johnny find the eggs.

Just a few buds on my tree just off my deck.  That is what a few sunny warm days will do, followed by some spring rain.
