52 Weeks of Matthew | Week 8 Snow Day

Although Matthew had a very exciting birthday week, he also spent some time outside in the snow.  He had his first taste of snow and Aunty let him eat it as it was freshly fallen and the dogs were in the backyard :)

Matthew turned 1 last week.  Here is part 1 of his 2 part portrait session.  The cake smash is also coming soon.  Those blue eyes still get me everytime.  I wish you could hear the laugh that goes with this smile.....like beautiful music.

I am not sure when the toddler has turned into a little boy.  Johnny played in the studio with Aunty while we got ready for Matthew's Birthday shoot.  He was happily bribed with chocolate chips :)

52 Weeks of Johnny | Week 8 Snow Day

We have had more snow in Victoria...can you imagine that!!!  We hardly ever get snow and it is downright cold.  But not too cold for Johnny to head outside to play.

Maddie is a suckler just like her momma Taylor.  When she is relaxing, she grabs her psychodelic bunny and suckles away.

Just out for a walk with the dogs.  Always exploring.

"Johnny, are you going to throw that snowball at Aunty Lori?"  This involves running and throwing at the same time.

52 Weeks of Messina | Week 7

Messina's head has changed a lot this year with her illness.  I was hoping to have an action shot this week, but when I was looking through the shots, this one really stood out for me.  I think it is the shadows, but it almost looks like her old, big, beautiful head.  I also love the eye contact here sooo much.  Waiting for a cookie and I had the zoom lens on so she was far away and inching forward.

And just chilling.  The first two are on a walk with the dogs.  The last few from a windy day at the beach on Sunday.  He LOVES to swing.  I had a hard time choosing just one.

I have also started a 52 week of not dogs ( a bit late came in on Week 5).  I used Matthew's pics for week 5 and week 6 that have already been posted.  Week 7 is the monkey corkscrew at the park.

Matthew discovered the window sill and window in the kitchen this week.  He is just tall enough to peek over the sill and look out.  He waves at the cars, the people and especially likes when someone goes outside and waves back at him.  I had to share more than one.
