A beautiful Saturday afternoon in May in Victoria.  Add a gorgeous couple in love and a lot of good friends and family.  I had the privilege of spending the day with Trisha and her sis Carrie getting prepped for the wedding.  We had a lot of laughs.  Then off to check what the boys were doing, they to were waiting patiently.  The ceremony was lovely down at Saxe Pointe.  I have a lot of favourites from this wedding but the ones that show how committed and in love these two are at the top of the list.  Enjoy Trisha and Mike.  More to follow in the next few days.

144-365 | 3 months old

Matthew turned 3 months old today.  We did a few quick shots.  He is such a smily boy and those eyes.  Wow is all I can say.

143-365 | Relaxed Sunday

Cheryl, the boys and I headed to the petting zoo at Beacon Hill Park.  Johnny got a real kick out of petting the goats, but was a bit scared of the very loud peacocks.  I thought the colors were too pretty to share.  The second photo is one that Cheryl took of the boys quickly with my camera.  They are getting big!

142-365 | Busy Saturday

Cheryl, the boys, Messina and I headed to Vancouver for a vet appointment, as well as to pickup Cheryl's new minivan---I mean Odyssey.  It was a long day, and didn't even pull out the camera until hanging in the car waiting at the ferry.  Matthew's eyes are soooo blue!!!  Cheryl keeps saying they look like mine, but I think they are going to turn green like his daddy's.

Johnny has a new play structure in the backyard to climb on.  Just some casual Friday afternoon hanging in the sun.

140-365 | Meds

These are Messina's antibiotics.  She is now on another 2 weeks as we wait for more test results.  They are HUGE pills and I have to hide them in her muffins for her to eat them.

139-365 | After 138 days..I missed one!

I was sure I had taken a picture on Wednesday, but not anywhere can I find one.  Oh well.

138-365 | Bootcamp

Cheryl and I are starting bootcamp today.  She is preparing training schedule for us.  We are going to do 2 days per week of strength and cardio mix and then 1 day per week of cardio.  7 weeks, see you at the end of June!!!

136-365 | Day at the Beach

Last time Johnny went to the beach with his friends, he thought swimming with clothes on was a great idea until he had to sit in wet clothes all the way home as who would have thought about swimming in May.  Mommy and Daddy were more prepared this time and they had swimshorts.  I thought the ocean was FREEZING, but Johnny loved it.  Will share some more beach shots this week.  I loved this one.

135-365 | Waiting patiently....

I had a great time today at Trisha and Mike's wedding.  The weather held out for their outdoor ceremony at Saxe Point.  Sneak peaks to come this week, but I thought this was a great way to introduce the preview.  The last picture of Trisha's hand without her wedding band.   Waiting patiently...

134-365 | Skydiving

My brother-in-law jumps out of planes for fun!  My nephew got to watch his Daddy for the first time do a demo jump at Reynolds Schoolgrounds.  Johnny was sooo cute.  As the parachutes came down, he kept saying, "Oh no, oh no."  He was so patient waiting behind the caution tape for the action to start.

133-365 | Mountains

I attended Trisha and Mike's rehearsal down at Saxe Point.  It was a lovely evening and a great view of the mountains in Washington state.

132-365 | Bathtime

52 Weeks of Dogs...catchup

The first shot was week 19.  Messina is resting and sleeping alot.  The 2nd shot was taken on Sunday, May 23rd.  It was cool outside so Mess found the sunny spot in Johnny's playroom.  You can see that Maddie thought it was warm enough to be outside in the sun.

I thought after yesterday's shot of the shaved neck/head, that you should see her little square from her IV on her leg....more suntanning for her today!

130-365 | Thoughts

I was trying to think of a shot to take on this Monday.  I was standing on the lower deck and had grabbed ths camera in the evening.  I started to come back up the stairs and Mess started coming down.  Focus isn't perfect, but I thought I could get her coming down the stairs and show her shaved neck where they took the spinal fluid from the week before.  Loved how it turned out as I thought she would never walk down the stairs again.....

129-365 | Mother's Day

I got to spend the afternoon with Cheryl, John, Johnny, and Matthew.  We headed downtown to the inner harbour and Johnny was excited to take his first Harbour Ferry ride.  He really liked it but thought the heliplanes were a bit loud on the way back.  This pic was taken as he sat in his stroller waiting for the little boat to take us back from Fisherman's Wharf to the inner harbour.
