Last Chance Mini-Sessions for Christmas

I have scheduled one more day for Mini-Sessions.  The location will be Beaver Lake - main beach.  The date will be Sunday, November 7th.  There are morning and afternoons sessions available.  For more info on the details of the sessions, please see this link.

Sneak Peak - The V. Family | Portrait Photogapher Victoria, BC

Another mini-session from last Sunday that the V. Family have been waiting for patiently :), computers, ugh!!

We got a bit wet but there were a lot of trees to protect us.

We managed to sneak in a mini session on Sunday, between pouring rain sessions at Beaver Lake.  Miss O. wanted nothing to do with the camera or to be too far away from her mom, but we did manage to capture a few of her and her sis Miss M.

These were the words that the groom used to describe his bride.  I don't think there was a dry eye in the house which was shortly followed by tears because we were laughing too hard.  This is the last wedding that I have scheduled for this year and I think that I have developed a rating for weddings.....crying and laughing.  I need more fingers and toes to count the number of times I either teared up or laughed out loud.  Rob and Janine are soulmates, you can tell they were meant to be together.  Wonderful families and friends and what a party!

Matthew and I got to hang out on Friday afternoon while his mom went for a run.  This little guy has a million faces.  I love how he looks right at the camera, unlike his older brother right now!

Couldn't just choose one, so had to do a collage.

I came upstairs at my sister's house, and there was Maddie sleeping on Johnny's bed, cuddled up to the shark.  I had to go and get the camera.

Messina sitting on the stairs at my sister's house.  She ALWAYS sits like this usually to have a good view of living room and front door.  Poor shaved belly still growing in.  This was also my Week 41 pic for 52 Weeks for Dogs.

283-365 | Happy Thanksgiving

I am lucky to spend Thanksgiving with my sister's inlaws.  I love the tradition of the day and am grateful that I am included.  The "boys" have a traditional road hockey game every year, young and old.  Little Johnny got to come out and play this year and although he didn't get to actually "play", I think he did practice and check out the competition for next year.  This pic is of Uncle Matt, the goalie.

Messina loves my bed in the late afternoon and so do I, the light is great.  The look here is why are you bothering me, I am sleeping.  This was also my submission for 52 Weeks for Dogs this week.  CAUGHT UP, this is posting on Saturday, October 9th.  Yahoo.

280-365 | Many Faces

Matthew has many faces, but the pouty, see I have teeth face is my favourite right now.  Thought I would do some vintage editing on this one.

I am sure if Matthew was the FIRST baby, and if Messina hadn't been so sick over the last 5 months, these photos wouldn't have happened.  But my sister is cool and said what the heck, clean him up Mess.  Sometimes Matthew laughs and smiles when Mess kisses him, sometimes he looks disgusted and sometimes he cries with a super sour face.  This time, he sort of just looked shocked!

7 month old..happy, smiling, not moving, looking at camera

2 1/4 year old....avoids camera at all costs, will not take any bribery including chocolate, apple juice and standing ON a chair

RESULT - not one shot where both children are looking at camera with some kind of reasonable expression.

This is a tree in my sister's backyard.  It is quite cool and looked great against a fall sunset.

I was in Vancouver for vet appointment, but stopped at a friend's house and had to pull out the camera to take a shot of this snail.

275-365 | Go Canucks Go - 7 Months

Matthew needed to join his brother's cheering and try on his big brother's jersey too.  We did his 7 month session with the jersey (more pics to come).

This shot was taken as I was checking the light and setting up the camera...but the look was too cute so had to edit it.

This was my 39-52 Weeks for Dogs photo as well.  I loved the shadows in this one and the look that Mess is giving me.  You can also see how thin she has become with her ribs, we are working on putting on some weight for her.
